Looking for an exelecent video to *.mp4 file converter.

Excellent as in, it automatically detects which settings I should use and the ability to rename the output file. I have a psp :lol:.

I use psp video 9, and it's great and all, but I want to know my other, possibly better alternatives.

the only one I've used so far is easy video to ipod converter. Did everything I wanted it to.

i use winavi mp4 converter
does files for ipod, psp, and the normal .mp4 and 3gp files.
i use it for my nintendo wii and samsung phone

i use a xilisoft program, forgot whats its called though. they make good software.
