This may make me look stupid but is there any way i can send a film via email.
I've tried copy and paste, but it will not allow me to do it.
Thanks.

Try to post in the right section of the board.

This section is for discussion of things related with this FileSharingTalk forum. Your post isn't about that.

Thanks.

There should be an attachement button in your mail prog that lest you select a file to attach, if that is what you are trying to do.

Depends on the mail box limits of the receiver.

I usually rar up the files with 10% recovery in case of errors.

You should consider FTP, usenet or something like that too as it will be a little smoother.

You could setup Skype (http://www.skype.com/download/) on both computers and use the 'Send File' option.

Most email providers have a limit on the attachment size (like 10 megs). Since ur file is 700megs its not gunna fit in one email. You can rar up the file and split into multiple files (say 10megs in size) and email them (its gunna be like 50 emails) and have the person extract the file from the rar archive.

You can also upload it to a server such as rapidshare or something and just email the link.

Other options include using a P2P program (like bit torrent) or an IM client (like skype or AIM) to distribute the file.

You can try Pando (http://www.pando.com/). I haven't tried it myself but I heard good things about it.
You need to install it on both computers. The file is stored on the company's servers for 14 days, but the receiving computer can start downloading from the minute you start uploading.
