View Full Version : Combining 2 AVI's
Recommend me some software for combining 2 AVI files.
I tried VirtualDub but kept getting errors, so I just tried Windows Movie Maker and it says 109 minutes remaining. Screw that. Any ideas?

i have been wondering the same thing but have not got around to trying anything, wondering if you used a file splitter program all you may need to do is rename files in order they go then rejoin to right name

WinAVI. (Link (http://www.winavi.com/)). No problems here, except I once tried converting a flash file (*.swf) into a DVD file and the sound came out sync, but I was using version 6 er something.
The latest is 7.7. Also, I'm using K-Lite Codec pack...I think you might need that not sure.

Which WinAVI product is it exactly? The converter, DVD copier, or video capturer?

I tried using winavi just yesterday to convert avi files into dvd and it kept messing up my codecs. I had to keep reinstalling klite codec pack b/c after I would try to convert the videos winavi said that it couldn't convert it and then I couldn't play the file anymore either. Media player classic would then say "cannot render the file." WTF? back to dvd santa.
