After playing it on PS2 I could care less, the game sucks and the control/view point is one of the worst I have ever encountered.

as i have told before capcom release has that bugs but ubisoft release will be better(i guess) also, in my opinion playing it with mouse gives us a different feeling...İt's graphics will be enchanced, too.

This is one of the best games I have ever played!!

I had to get past the initial control scheme but then I got used to it.

I hope RE5 keeps the same control scheme actually. Hell Gears Of War kinda copied it.

Nice, I've always like the resident evil series. The last one I played was RE Nemesis back in the PS1 days. :D

After playing it on PS2 I could care less, the game sucks and the control/view point is one of the worst I have ever encountered.

I absolutely hated the controls (view point was noice) initially. Now I think the controls were excellent.

It was weird that after buying the game, I played it for 5 minutes, hated the aiming (thought it sluggish) and turned it off. One of my best friends later started telling how good the game was (while I was telling him it was shit) so I took another stab at it and end up beating it before him.

The adventure, the enemies, and how much Capcom put into that game was simply amazing and the control played perfectly.

I even liked the minigame where you play as the lady (I think Ada Wong).

Give the game another stab (at least play past the GymKata town). When the hooded guy (Jason Voorhees) chainsawed my head off I was in total shock.:O The game is not easy but that's a good thing.

I'll have to give it another try properly then, the PC port sounds badly done though. No mouse support? That's just mental, luckily I've got a gamepad but still it sounds like they've just done a cut and paste job.

It needs dx9 to run.

The good news is that you can download a mod on GameCopyWorld that lets you play with the mouse.

you can use mouse to aim right?

Yeah, I only tried it out briefly but it works okay. I used the ATI control panel to boost the graphics as well.

I have my doubts now whether or not the ubisoft release will have mouse support or not. I was on their official site and their system requirements mentioned a gamepad not a mouse.

Do you have a PS2? Then you're in luck, this game came out for the PS2 about 8 years ago so should be dirt cheap to pick up.

If you don't have a PS2 then you'd be better off getting the Gamecube or PC version.

I don't even know why they are bothering any more.

The release date must have been moved forward by at least a year over all - What a bunch of morons.

I beat RE4 on the gamecube and if this version has new downloadble content (which would be sweet) I'd think about it.

So it's gonna be a gamepad or keyboard only game? Wow.... that's pretty bold. Actually, Microsoft has already stated that the 360 hardware (except the camera on the Vista) will work for PCs. This includes the controller, so I guess it's not a bold move after all.
