Are there newsgroups similar to gfxnews.ru? e-learning?

Just recently started using newsgroups and i'm nothing but impressed with it. i've been trying to find newsgroups with content such as gfxnews.ru or with e-learning material. so far, i've only found alt.binaries.cbts. if you know of any others, plz give your recommendation :D.
