Can someone explain why i can't connect to the seeds in swarm? or better yet how can i connect to them or at least more of them? if there is 1000 seeds, but i can only connect to 5 of them wtf? there's still over 900 seeds out there i should be able to connect to. why can't i? how can i? what's the deal with those seeds?

give it time and it will connect to more seeds
and you can change the settings in your torrent client: max amount of connections/peers etc

Also for best results make sure you are connectable. Ussually anytime your client announces to the site it SHOULD pickup more peers. So sometimes if you do a manual announce now and then it will help a bit as well.

increase your per torrent and global connection limits. If you left them at default then they're pretty low for any bt client.

if it's a torrent from a public tracker, those peers could very well be faked.

i don't see how that would help. it sounds as if it would, but as of now there are like 1500+ seeds and i'm only connected to 25 of them. default global is 200. lol, i can't even get half of that.

do a manual announce now and then

right click on the torrent you want to manual announce, select "Update Tracker"
