Which phobia is likely to cause you the most embarassment, if you experience it, for example, with a bunch of strangers.

As well as the BF phobia I also hate being in a plane and I once had a panic attack on a flight whilst travelling alone from India to Usbekistan, I felt like a complete imbecile

My one big phobia is spiders.
But I suffer from anxiety and when I'm going through a bad patch I seem to have more.
To name a few:

Flying, dirty linnen, answering the phone, going out on my own, Gem going out on his own, ....

But spiders :fear: We get the big black ones up here. They're horrendous :cry:

Spiders I can deal with, but when the stress factor is heavy I know where you're coming from with the phone, I don't answer the front door either, and I have been known to avoid opening the post

Mine is rather hairy and is frowning as i look it. I don't know if it's bigger than the average belly button, but my massive belly dwarfs it.

You have no idea how much effort would be involved. I would need to apply make up to the belly area, then take a picture with my phone, then infrared it to my pda, then transfer it to the computer, then do some magic in photoshop, then find somewhere to upload it to.

When I first read that I thought it said "Flying dirty linen", which in fact gave me a cold sweat :fear:

Therefore I think my phobia must be flying dirty linen.

I've only ever met two other people who are scared of belly buttons until now! I can't even wear trousers which might "dig in" to that bit because it makes me feel ill. The thought of someone sticking a finger in it makes me retch and I'm even a bit sweaty typing this.
