Say I have posted in my screenshot for a site 'A' that I have uploaded ab.cd GB and downloaded ef.gh GB of data and my ratio is some x.y.

Isnt it too easy for a spy from site A to track me by a simple mysql query on their server using these criteria? If so , how can we overcome it ?

:whistling:

EDIT: I think, after a second thought, this may go into the top section than here . Somebody please move this thanks

It's actually a good tip: Don't make your ratio screens too up to date!

It is safe aslong you don't reveal site url and providing that your stats are different slightly from actual....

make 20 posts and get to the invites section. you'll see how posting ratios becomes a necessity. :D

brush the ratio (final parts),IP
but since you're always seeding or downloading ur ratio will change (at least a bit) and you should be fine.

Its fairly easy if you can see the uploaded/downloaded amounts.

Just do a search and youll ussually only only find a limited amount of users within those ranges.

However most of the time staff dont even have to search that far.
Most of you guys use the same names here that you use on every other site so doing a username search 95% of the time is all they would need to do. ;)

P.S. They dont even have to do a sql querie on the db itself. Most sites have functions to do with as a regular site admin option.

the actual problem is when your data becomes three digit or in the worst case TBs. the "sample space" for the spies to search for the *culprit* becomes too less

best way to not get in trouble is to not trade anything and give them away for free. When you guys trade accounts/invites is the same as selling them.
