I'm still wondering how this is possible!

As I understand it, the phone line is LIMITED to 5.3Kb/s
Can sombody explain?

I don't know.  That's real strange. 56 kilobits per second = 56/8 bit per byte = 7 kilobytes per second. So theoretical maximum is 7 Kilobytes per second. This never happens. There are other limiting factors and line noise.

So if you were downloading at the speed you say (over 25) there must be some sort of compression or some file that contains no information or something like that. <_<

Right, it was.
But I still don't understand how that kind of Bandwidth could move through the line!

Nope, I beat your record, I was once downloading a fake version of RCT2 and I was downloading at 40Kbps, although this was a 12 o'clock at night! :P It finished the download in under an hour. :D

I've had this too when downloading a recently released album. They are dummy files, empty but recognised by windows as being a certain size. It's not extra bandwidth just kazaa being fooled into thinking it is.

Basically, what smellmycomputer said.
