I think that the flood control on this board should be lowered to 20 seconds.

What do you think?

Just curious.

(NOTE: It is very easy to change the setting on Invision, so this could be done.)

I am not saying get rid of it.... just lower it to 20 seconds! I dont want to spam, but when I post a short post and want to post another, I have to wait awile before I can post!

A while back, I asked VB to lower it and it was a no-no back then, so I doubt very much if he will do it now.

Flood Control is a good protection against spammers too: last night we had Killa visiting us again, and I was very happy with it then. ;)


And if you think it's annoying for you guys: think of the Mods who have to surf the board all the time using the View New Posts button. :D

Thats just crazy.... Not that far! It would be impossible to moderate! And it would ruin the whole "posts dont count in the lounge" thing because you could spam everywhere else and get your post count up!

Let me get this into some sort of context.

30 seconds is too long to wait between posts, so you want it lowered to 20.

Here&#39;s a better idea, think about what you are going to say and how you are going to say it for an extra 10 seconds.

Read over what you have written before you hit the [ADD REPLY] button.

You&#39;ll find it has a similar effect, without opening the board up to even easier attacks by the idiots.
