Can Changing Ports Help With Downloads?

Just lately my dowload speeds have been frustratingly slow. Can changing the port no help - if so what port number should I use and how do I change it?

changin ports really wont do anything, usally your download speeds slow after a few weeks into the new month, its b/c your ISP can only give you so much bandwith and once its gone you have to wait, best thing to do is get a bandwith limiter (net limiter on google) set it so kazaa on sucks up so much
