No offense to any true Eurovision fans, but if I wanted to see a bunch of t**ts perform and get voted based on friendships instead of talent, I'd watch a UN summit.

I&#39;m afraid to say that I&#39;ll probably watch it. Not really because I enjoy the talent of Russian musicians, but because, as Terry Wogan himself has said, we love to hate. I don&#39;t think many people in the UK take it seriously - but it&#39;s great fun to watch a couple of Estonian presenters look like complete idiots in front of millions of people.

Actually, is it Estonia this year? It might be one of those other nearby countries...

I just like watching how the voting goes at the end, we never win though, always the bloody estonians or similar. Whos singing for us anyway, cheeky girlz?

I havent watched it, but I heard turky (how the hell do U spell that in english) won, TATU didnt even win :angry: and holland placed 11th :P (I hate songfestivals)

The song and singers were crap BUT there is too much political voting in that eurovision shite contest.The Iraq conflict and our(England&#39;s) stand in it played a big part in last nights voting.

uk came last coz of politics...they Never do bad in Eurovision...yeah the song was utter shite but they normally are it would have come about 10/16th under normal circumstances...and i&#39;ll never be european either....UK forever

actually while we are on the subject does anyonr remember about 3/4 years ago there was a foreighn song called peace and it was fronted by a tina turner lookalike with a backing band straight out of the 70&#39;s...it was sooo cool i er video taped it ahem and tried to copy the dance routine :unsure: :D
