i dl a movie torrent it finished as a MDF file
what is it and how do i burn this to dvd
any help would greatly be appriciated

MDF files are burnt using Alcohol 120%.

You can also burn it using PowerISO.

You should be able to extract it in winrar as well if you dont feel like downloading another app to burn it.

You can do this with a dvd image, but it's not to be done for other formats like games for example. I have installed alcohol 120 % in the past just to burn a couple of games and then uninstalled it after i finished.

might just be easier to re dl it as a mpeg or avi and convert to dvd lol
but everyday i learn something new thanks for all the help

Don't waste time and bandwidth by downloading again, either download alcohol 120's 30 trial here (http://mirror3.free-downloads.net/3/Alcohol120_trial_1.9.6.4719.exe), or download a cracked version. Go to google and type in "alcohol 120 site:rapidshare.com" without the quotes to find a cracked version.

Just download magiciso to burn mdf file to dvd. It works very well.
