I'm having the same problem. I tried recovering the password, got the email with the new password and still get an username or password invalid error. I tried 4 times. Still no sucess. The fact that the tracker is not that great, makes the loss easier to take.

dudes, what stats u got on those fresh accounts ?

i had an acc at rp but with zero stats, and ftgs , today morning i was thinking thats about time to just grab some torrent and seed it back just to have 1+ ratio at rautaportti.

now imo they have just disabled allthese new acc with zero dl/up activity.
it's sad but i think it'strue.

besides there'sdamnto many sites to keep an eye on them, but not dlling at all was a bad idea at rp.

If the account was disabled why do they send me a new password through the recovery function? I dont understand that.

A disabled account means that the username and everything associated with it is eliminated. But my mail is still active or else they wouldnt accept it.

I thought of using the account just for the sake of it, but i'm in the middle of another download/upload and wouldnt stop it just for rp. Like i said, i'm not too stressed about it.

well, i can tell u that recovering ( itself) your acc when it's already disabled is not turned off, it is still working,

but when u try the new password allu will see, that your acc is disabled

well, actually i liked rp, it had some unique torrents, but let's faced it, easy get, easy go.

You can keep both of them. I also got disabled or whatever. Rarity means little when the quality is also little.

Who Cares! They probably had members bitching about the open signups and decided to reduce membership significantly to keep the tracker "elite". There are so many sites out there with better content and speeds.

something, i have more thinks to do than spending my time and money with some stupid tracker that does not have any respect for the users they get... with my new account created 6days ago i have downloaded 3.5Gb and have uploaded almost 3 times more, and all this 4 nothing. WTF!!!! I spend my time and money giving free upload 4 they'r elite users. I think this kind of acctions taken from a tracker side are unfair and only brings a bad name for them, also with this shity acctions they can create dangerous enemys, also if they dissable accounts with foreign IP's this is pure descrimination and racism. i have made an thread at finbytes, about rautaportti's behaviour, i've asked some questions ect., because a lot members at fb r members at rp,

and u know what has happened next,

the htread got deleted after few seconds of existance, what is more my more than 60 weeks acc got deleted either,

i have uploaded there like literally tons of gigabytes ( about 2.8 TB as i remember) , downloaded like 420-430 GB.

nice, pretty nice, i wish rp didn't opened their signups at all.

btw.
all my friends which were invited by that my acc at fb, got deleted also, also their friends who were invited, generally about 20-25 people have losts their accounts.

anyway, at least dudesons were quite funny, especially when they s**** in the postbox.

Activating the account is always the first I do after I sign-up. I was only registered for 5 days without any activity. I don't believe that's grounds for deletion. :/

yeah, i never leave empty account when registering, especially something like rp, so that's not reason...
if i recall rp was raided by law some times before, maybe they are just too paranoid with new users :)
on the other hand, maybe rp now is run by the finnish police, so they don't need foreign citizens they can't catch :)

No.. not so. I downloaded the second day i signed up. It had 3.something ratio. Even i wondered i had above 5gb upload credit after i finished a torrent. It can be an error too. I do not think like, they disabled these accounts.
