Demonoid stats not updating

I've uploaded close to 40GB to demonoid and still my upload there is shown as 250 MB. Why is this?

But won't we get banned for low ratios there?

no because (in my case) the dl is not updating corectly either so the overall ratio is not affected

try loging in and out - browse the site for 10 mins, click update tracker, it does update, but registers in your stats hours later - i spent a day doing this to test it -the tracker updated my ratio 2 or 3 times in that day.

They acctually post alot of torrents from other trackers there as well so the stats probably wouldnt update properly on those torrents as well.

I also beleive reading somewhere a while ago that their tracker only updated stats every 12hrs or so. Which in my opinion is kinda rediculious.

Well i tried logging in and out several times. No effect on stats. Well i'll keep using that site. If they delete my account for low ratio, i'll register again.

why do u care about demonoid ratio ?
They don't count ratio there.
their ratio check system works only when it wants 2....

i uploaded a lot there and never checked my ratio. When I checked the stats today, the uploads were not counted.

I would not worry about Demonoid stats. It updates every 24 hours and it doesn't work sometimes. It could be torrents from other trackers, it could be your client, it could be demonoids stat system sucks. I have never heard of anyone being banned from Demonoid for ratio issues, so don't worry about it. If you get into other private trackers and your ratios do not update, then you should worry.

like someone said earlier demonoid uses external trackers.. It doesnt count the upload/download you do on those trackers. this could be one reason your not registering the credit
