psp is definitely worth buying
actually got one and it's amazing - psx games , nes snes csp1 csp2 gba emulators , playing tekken : dr and pes6 over wifi with friends , mp3s , www , video and so on ...

it's great, really nice graphics for a handheld and it's got the games to back it up, depending on what kind of games you like; tekken, gta, final fantasy,killzone etc. Not to mention it is the "swiss army knife" of the handhelds. if you're really hung up on size or you just prefer nintendo you could always get a ds lite.

First of all, slim ps2 was made by sony to get ride of the buffer overflow hack.. aka : independance hack + they deleted the IDE HDD support. Which is very gay.. Don't wait for a slim (hack_fixed) version of the PSP. Go to Dcemu and get informed about every stuff a firmware modified psp can do. In short, it can emulate every game system before dreamcast. This also include emulation for every handled system before nintendo ds. + video, music and web stuff. It is the most complete handled system..

Ok, the ds have more valuable games if you look between psp titles and ds.. But that quite all for the ds. Homebrew on ds is some what, hardware limited.
