compared to the higher end GeforceFX models, the 5200 provides very little (if any) speed improvement over the previous generation (GF4), and it definitely does not compete with the radeon 9700s. but you do get minimal hardware support for DirectX 9, which the GF4 does not have.

basically you get what you pay for. if you want the newest and the fastest, you have to pay for the more expensive cards. for $70, you get a new "low-end" card which basically performs on the level of last year's "high-end" products.

lol FX5200 is nothing more than a MX

so save up get a GF4 ti or FX5600

if you buy a FX5200 you gonna wish you hadn't when you start playin them games

you can look at any test a GF4 Ti 4200 has more than double the power !!!!!!

i hav a GF4 ti 4200 XFX model and i'm realy pleased if i was upgrading i would buy the mid-range FX 5600's

the 5200 beats the ti 4800 in performance mode, otherwise it comes a tad before it...

hmm

no clue, prolly gonna save for the 9700 pro or something then
