Talking of which, I should go and see if they try and pull any more dodgy salutes and pretend they are the "Red Hand of Ulster".

The red boot of Murray is needed methinks

How in the name of feck does it look anything like a Red Hand. That would be showing the palm, so the hand would have to be facing outwards. What they were doing looked nothing like it, it was clearly a Nazi salute. Have you seen the phoaties.

Even if it were a Red Hand salute, why do they do it, to be provocative. So they are claiming that they weren't actually making Nazi signals to a Jewish crowd. They were actually doing their sectarian thing again. That's OK well.

They might have been Catholic Jews?

I was a bit taken aback when I heard the red hand thing on the radio - even more so that EUFA had accepted the explanation.

I was more referring to when they do it at other times. They have been known to sing anti-Catholic songs in Israel as well. Well anywhere they went to be entirely accurate.

Methinks WAFA wanted to accept it. However it is a bit bizarre, them not then asking why the fans were making that sign exactly.

I think it is one of those New Age things - they are seeking their inner Hun.
