The site has become more active recently and some have mentioned slow downs. So wede like to know how loading times are. Were aware a couple weeks ago there were slowdowns. Though we made some changes to deal with that. So were asking how the load times are within the last five days. Were looking into a server upgrade but would like some feedback first...

Thanks.

I haven't noticed a bit of lag in the past week.

About two months or so it was getting pretty bad.

I was one of the ones experiencing major slowdowns when viewing threads as well as posting. I have not noticed any lag lately, but yesterday I did get a database error when trying to visit the mainpage. Usually the database error, gives the FST symbol in the top left, but it was a broke image.

When it did this I also got a Reply Notification email and clicked its link and the thread came up no problem, then I was able to visit the mainpage no problem. Personally, I just dismissed this as just being random, but I won't vote until Sunday just to 'surf' a bit more. ;)

I noticed a few brief periods where the board stalls. It then works fine a minute or 2 later.

Errr, I'm voting now. It took 2 minutes for a quick reply to submit.

Slow.

Well having an issue from time isnt a fair gauge. Was looking for an overall. Though if its generally slow then thats a fair choice. Also as I recall the Quick Reply can have its bugs with stalling Whig is a vb issue last I recall. Al tough they have taken care of that by now...

most of the time good, but can get erratic on rare occasions.
sometimes "quick reply" hangs

was the board completely and utterly down for anyone else the last 2 days? Managed to partially load the FST homepage once, but that was it

What's happened now?

It's as bad as it ever was again ... 35 seconds to load the thread, 31 seconds to load the reply box.

EDIT: 34 seconds to post the reply.

So, there I am, doing my chores, and I get an e-mail notification of a reply to this thread.

So I drop what I'm doing, check in, slowly, and come across a n00b, and one of his nine posts so far, none of which bears any resemblance to the threads they posted in!

Often the board "hangs" when opening a new thread..and then one more click helps to open the thread, but only if the address from the thread is showing already in the brouwser...

edit: all is loading OK at the moment
