Sharing Fakes Is Being Done On Purpose!

Its not just RIAA but there are some who are on their side as well. Mostly rich punks, who has good connection. You download at amazing speed only to get files that have been renamed or cut to same size to fool you. Why share fake files, when you can just delete it? waste of harddrive and it would not be very bright to share them either. That's too much work and you would be looked upon as moron.

Many people probably don't even realize they've downloaded the fakes and/or don't know to move them/delete them from their shared directory.

But be nice about it... till they give you a nasty reply anyhow -- then you need to get their ip and let some of us figure out what special treatment they deserve. :ph34r:

I agree with Switeck, sure there are enough people who for some reason get enjoyment out of naming fake files but some people just click and let the thing download while they're someplace else. They could do it overnight and not get to their computer until sometime in the afternoon. Like Switeck said just send a polite message, and if you don't repsond don't immediately think they're doing it on purpose, because of most of the time they're not there.

I'm new and want to warn other about a very popularbutfake 2003 Incredible Hulk. How do I rename it? And, why don't others turn on their messaging so they can be warned. I couldn't even warn those who were persistently trying to upload from me while I was quickly trying to delete the fake. Not usually a retaliatory person, but I know someone must have the capability to trace file originators and give them a firm warning- boxes appearing from nowhere can make assholes sweat.

I've had the same problem with uploaders whilst trying to delete a fake.....I suggest that you just close Kazaa connection...delete the file...and hope that the uploaders (who are not just getting it from you) do the same once they discover its a fake....people turn off their messengers for lots of reasons or are just not there.....I guess they just dont want their privacy invaded or something....but I know what you mean...its an issue with Kazaa that won't go away....try verifieds but be prepared to wait.

maybe the people who distribute fakes are just really big fans of "Scary Movie." :lol:

(that file seems to be the one that gets renamed most often, to the names of popular new movies)

:lol: People who are anti-kazaa, and people who don't agree with downloading music and movies rename files so that you don't get the original. People who leave these in their shared folder do it to piss people off and so that they don't actually get the file they are looking for. Think of it as tit for tat. Revenge etc.

Either way the "nice" people rename the files to the correct name always click the plus to see more files and if one is renamed to something else like the "real" film then don't download it.

If a film hasnt been made at all yet then its not going to be on kazaa is it? so dont be fooled by that either.

People who want to keep films off kazaa use a decoy to keep u off track of the real files. Theres so many fake files it hard to filter out the crap, but if everyone deletes the fake files then well never know whats fake and whats not. Use AVIpreview and stop yourself from accdently downloading "sweedish porn". We've all downloaded fakes before... get back at the anti-kazaa people! grr i hate them so much lol

I've gotten some good videos. They just weren't what I expected. I think some of it is unintentional. I just rename them and edit the details. (Yea,that Swedish porn was really bad.)

Don't forget that if you watch your Peer Guardian as you start a dl, and you see excessive activity or blocks to companies like AVIFakes, stop that dl right away, its going to be a black screen with nothing, a raw bitmap image. well yes we can use avi preview for movies but as for games and software its another thing use varifieds yes but finding tomato source is a f*cking pain in the ass and when u finally do it goes at a blistering spedd of 0/75kb

Well, I told you so. Those who are sharing fakes are most likely the baddys that are distrupting our sharing community. They should be banned, kicked somehow, then their would be no fake. Most us check our movies DL, i don't think anyone is sharing it thought unless you're one of them and are being paid like 5 dollars an hour.

But they have the upperhand, because they control the stock market. we are the fools, the sheep of their greedyness. While we lose most of our savings into promised profit, they get richer. what can I say? a double backstab. if i were you guy, we would make a plan to get back at them. Their the crooks and liars that have turned my our world upside down. Those who worked hard all their life shouldn't have to lose anything to those scumbag. :(
