Similar threads and Invites section

Is it possible to disable the "Similar threads" feature for certain sub-forums? I think overall it's a neat feature, but in the BitTorrent Invites sub-forum, it's annoying as heck.

Most invite threads have a certain short lifespan, and I see people posting responses to threads that may have been started 6 months ago. Nothing more irksome than seeing a giveaway thread resurrected.

What do y'all think?

It actually may be the why threads are bumped. Ive always disliked the feature all together. Mine is collapsed as its a waste of scrolling space. If most want it off dont think theres much point in keeping it. If its possible to turn it off in certain section think the invites section could deffeinitly do without it...

You got my vote to turn it off, in the Invites section at least!

Would it be possible to tweak it for the rest of the forum? Only displaying threads less than a year old would be good.
