A friend of mine was recently fined for file sharing.... so am pretty much shittin it that the same will happen to me!!

I mostly use limewire, is their anyway i can keep my identity hidden?

Limewire is teh debil ! Peerguardian 2 might help a bit though...

I've tried torrents, but for some reason ports won't open properly for me.... i'll give peerguardian a go anyway!

You can always start and use newsgroups. They are perfectly safe and are much faster although if your isp does not provide them you will have to pay for it.
