In fact Windows Vista has all the required dlls for DirectX 9.0c and 10. Nero 7 doesn't use DirectX 10 at but it needs to extend the existing set of DirectX 9 dlls in order to function properly. You don't need to worry the last version is fully compatible with Windows Vista (Certified for Windows Vista). There is no way to bypass it, and even if there is you shouldn't do that (it's meaningless).

nero needs directx to function properly, that's brilliant. wouldn't touch that program with poke.

actually i used 5.0 and it was decent; since then it became real crap.

yeah, i found that funny as well. i just installed it. nero 7 is just plain bloat ware, but i am just testing progs and what works with vista. took a quick min to find a nero that is supported within vista. i found it and it works, but dammit wtf is it over 100mb's? lol, that's retarted. i came from nero 6.6 and it was great. this nero 7 is junk. i'll be trying out alcohol vista edition when it's out and finally get rid of this junk.

i've tried 7.7.5.1 lite and it would install on vista, but it would not burn. have u physically tried 7.5.9.0a lite and it works?
