too many proccesses help

does any 1 know why my computers processes in the task manager is always at 39 its a new computer and it seems to be slow at times can any one please help me or give me a program to help thanks?????:D :cool:

You will need to run a hijackthis report and post it here for the experts to determine what you don't need running.

If you have WinXP, Go to My PC> Right Click> Manage> Services> Service again and there you will se the list of the proccess running in your pc, you just have to put them in Manual (you can start it), Automatic (it starts alone) or Stop (cant start it not even you, except you put it in Manual or Automatic again).... try to put in Manual the one useless..
