That was nice of Sir Alex.

Taking him off early to get the standing ovation.

Quality decision.

Yeah but he couldn't hack it with a big team for long - he's away back to VanHelsingborg now.

He was probably a bit over-awed.

:D Probly.

It was good to see the manutd supporting giving him the ovation tho'. They must have realised he was a bit out of his depth.

That's just the sort of schadenfreudic view I'd expect from you, McBannockburn.

He was clearly kicked to feckery before he went down :snooty:

To be fair tho', I could prolly knock in a few given a decent run in a Scotch Premier side.

Larsson is a good player but he lacked the bottle to try it at the top level.

It's possible I made it up - but I'm sure I read somewhere that his family are from Rhyl.

Isn't it a law that all Welsh words should have a minimum of two "l"s in them.

Nah - it's just an excuse so we can spit over the English when they ask where we live.

The Scotch Premier is a lot tougher than people down south might think, It's a matter of fact not fiction. When Scottish and English sides met there is 1 or 2 goals in It, there are no cricket scores in It.

Scottish sides usually fer better than there English counterparts, do a little research and you will find I am right.

Don't be daft, there are only two good sides in Scotland - well, only one since Le Guen completed Rangers' implosion.

I'd go on but you clearly don't watch a lot of football so I won't wanna bore you by droning on about it.
