Has anyone heard the title track off the new album yet? I read this morning that the video for that song will premiere on MTV today. MTV2 will be playing the video every hour on the hour, and MTV will show it tonight at 11:00 eastern. I am really interested to hear what this is going to sound like. Anyone found a decent copy on kazaa?

At the end of the MtvICON, they played a track off their new album. I think it is called Frantic, sounded pretty cool :)

Heard some of the song today... didn&#39;t like the sound though... the snare was WAY to thin, and it all sounded like some overproduced version of the Misfits if you ask me...

Still, I have great hopes for the rest of the album...

At first I didn&#39;t really like the song, but it does grow and flurish into something new and entertaining. Yes, it doesn&#39;t sound like Metallica, which is good (altho taking away the later stuff, hearing another Justice album would be good)

But anyway, I have heard previews of almost every Metallica song (it&#39;s on thier webpage, view the 28 minute RealPlayer file) and some of thier stuff does sound genuilly good. I say give them a few listends, a few chances and it will grow. I at first did not love every single Metallica song from Ride The Lightning ...And Justice etc, now I do&#33;

I think i started to hat metallica when they brought out that song enter sandman that song changed there sound from then on and have never gone back to their heavy self

I got the vid and mp3 of both.. the vid is good quality sound and video.. the mp3 is not great sounding... its sounds like someone got it from the radio or something... how do u put hashes?

I like it and I&#39;ll buy the album...Got all their albums and even though im no where near a big metallica fan, i still like what metallica have done all through the years and not really fussed if their not "Full Heavy"...My fav album was master of puppets and when you really stop and think *it was heavy for the time, just like black sabbath was heavy for its time*...When compared to bands these days...if they came out now some people would call them rock...but anyways people have their opinions and metallica&#39;s new stuff isn&#39;t for everyone&#39;s taste...but it&#39;s mine ( l..l, )

All i can think of is that the intro on the mp3 is longer and the instrumental parts are longer...But if that&#39;s not the case then i dont know why... ;)

B) I downloaded the new Metallica tune today off Kazaa...It&#39;s not bad,I&#39;ve been a fan of Metallica since they started out in the 80&#39;s..sounds to me like another half assed Enter Sandman CD to me,hope the other tunes are a bit heavier because these guys can really kicker down when they want to.

ya. i dont care what neone thinks.. metallica will always be sweet in most respects..
as i own all their cds and couldnt believe what they helped do to Napster,
i will be getting their new cd (and not downloading it) as soon as its released..
then im gonna seed the hell out of it at a 320kb rate with 10x oversampling :D
theres no sense in seeding some crappy sound out there. B)
