I grew up in Vancouver. I haven't lived there since 1990 but I still consider myself a Canucks fan (and a Lions fan)!

Canucks won tonight, and now that's 40 wins -> 7th team to do it. Dallas was the 6th, and was only quicker because their game started before ours.

I think that's a huge problem with Canucks fans in general, way too many bandwagon fans. You have to be with a team high and low. I cheered them since 1990, when I was old enough to remember things :lol:

I'm a huge Nucks fan. Have been for the past 20 years. Only been to about 20 games since I live on the Island, but watch every one that's not on PPV.

40 wins for Luongo now. 20th goalie ever to reach that mark. He's having a good season, only wish he had more SO's.

Cowan is playing well. Effed up a bit last night (should've beat Sanford on that breakway), but it's nice to see someone other than the Sedins or Naslund on a bit of a scoring streak.

I read them once in a while, but I refuse to post there or become a member because I find Vancouver fans to be a little under the average intellect :P overall. I hated how people stopped caring about the team as much during the recent years when we missed the playoffs something like 5 years in a row. Plus all the people who said before the lockout that they were going to be alienated and not watch hockey again.

I have much more respect now for oilers fans since I read one of their forum threads about how they were wrong about the canucks this year. It showed true character for them.
I remember reading on the avs forum that they still thought they could catch Vancouver at the top of the NW division about 10 days ago or something. Made for a rather good read :)
And tonight, a 3-0 win against avs after losing in the shootout to them two days ago. Although I don't really like Calgary, they did us a favour tonight by beating the Wild.

I lived in Vancouver in 1994-6 and went to school with a guy who's family owned GM Place ir summat, and probably the teams...not too sure. I became friends with him, went to every home game, sat in the directors box always, was given two tickets for each game to sell to my mates.....and loved it. Granted, i only went to clear the beers out of the free bar after, but i fell in love with the Canucks.

I also got to do time-keeping for the Grizzlies. I had a huge range of sweatbands. Thanks Frank griffiths if you are out there. You took many drugs, so i doubt it.

Sadly, in China, not getting to see much these days.

What do you guys think of Nashville? I live here and i'm a big fan. I liked them when we sucked too. I think we can take the crying sharks. Joe thorton is a sissy, always complaining to the refs. The canucks goalie is really good.

All the western conference matchups are awesome :) I think I'll be watching the most hockey this season because they are all going to be exciting. In each series, it can go either way!

Canucks goalie is really good you say? That is very true! Roberto Luongo deserves the vezina, but you would all say I'm biased just because I'm a Canucks fan. I think he deserves it over Brodeur.
