Make a thread to hopefully draw attention to the fact that it's your birthday.
Have a nice cup of tea?
Run down your street naked :idunno:
Congratulations in advance, tho'.

My ex might consider that a bit of an imposition but she did buy me and the kids a really nice meal in a Japanese noodle bar - which at 50 is almost sex. :dabs:
Sorted = it was all the talk of sex - it distracted me.

You might want to re-think that post.

If I'd have been here before you turned 50 (We were in the pub winding Al up with Mrs Effey) I'd have said, go out for a meal with your loved ones, make a point of embarrassing your children, drink far too much and raise a glass to your life so far, and that yet to come, have a lovely evening, and when you go to bed snore like a bear because you can. Demand breakfast in bed the next day and blame your age on the fact that you cant get up and cook it yourself.
Carry on demanding stuff in the name of your advanced years for months until your good lady and your kids start rolling their eyes and ignoring you.
That's what I'm planning, minus the kids.

Carl Jung would probably have put it like this Sonja,
The confluence of events in the cultural gestalt necessitated that individual (read in this case Skweeky) enters at this historical juncture, and therefore synchronicitously brought such occurrences into being.
Congratulations on making it thus far old chap!
