I Just wanted to start the topic of who you think gives the best performance of a crazy guy - I think Jack Nicolson wins by a mile but not far behind that is Robert De Niro...

Buy hey tell me who you think

Defo Jack Nicholson, without a doubt

Michael Reilly Burke in the flim "Bundy". Great performance IMO. Even though Bundy's actions in real life are really deplorable.

I really liked Ed Norton in fight club, he portrayed himself brilliantly as a psycho yet maintains a certain level of blissfull naivity about it. To understand, you would have to see the movie.

Brad Pitt in "Twelve Monkeys" was brilliant as a nutjob. Not really that great of a flick but he did an excellent job.

Dennis Hopper in "Blue Velvet" was pretty good too.
