I need a good music tracker. I DO NOT want OinK, or STMusic. Been there done that. Sadly, I feel if I don't expand on this, members will just try to convince me to try them again so here goes -

OinK was more trouble than it was worth. The content was vast but I just couldn't keep a ratio there as no one leeched what I was downloading.

STMusic has about 4 albums I like on the whole tracker. I'm not looking for trance and house music.

I just want typical mainstream stuff! :fist:

Right now I use Soulseek for most of all my music needs with the ocassional album via newsgroups. I'd still like to find a nice tracker that would benefit me.

What else is out there?

Exigo er something....is it any good?

It's still painful when you get banned. The trick to getting your ratio up, is not through downloading, but uploading torrents, in particular rare files, files that people are looking for. The problem could follow you from site to site, but feel free to see if some of the music you are searching for is available on my site. Otherwise I will see you in FST chat room on Soulseek, still in my opinion, the best place for quality music.

That was one patronistic bit of literature there, nigel. :snooty:

I wasn't banned from OinK - I gave my account away.

"The trick to getting your ratio up, is not through downloading"? :O

j/k, buddy. :bleh:

The problem doesn't follow me as I have pretty nice buffers on most of my trackers, but music is different. I like to download a lot of country, and most of the rest of the world doesn't. That's why trackers are the last place I go for music. :(

Dimeadozen is for bootleg videoclips so I guess it's not what you want...
At e***o you will probably have bigger problems with ratio with the only flacs there ..
Maybe try BTMusic?? But I don't think you'll find there what you're searching for..
Did you take a look at Karagarga's music section?? Maybe worth a try..

I keep hearing more and more about exigo. Can someone be kind enough post a screenshot of the content?

I have filemp3 and have only downloaded one album from there the whole time I've had it. It's mostly trance, techno, indie (whatever that is) as well.

I have not tried Kara....

Anyone want to offer a kara or exigo invite? Are they freebies? I'm far too tired to check the ratings. http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/6324/yawnbe5.gif (http://imageshack.us)

Bootleg = Unofficialy recorded
Dimeadozen has mostly bootleg videos (live mostly) + some mp3 bootleg but that's it.. Where am i wrong?

EDIT: Yeah karagarga has mosly old music but good country is from the 50s 60s 70s as far as I know..
As for E***o if you're member at HDBits go to their external trackers forum and the owner himself is giving invites there..

I try not to trade tbh. As far back as I can recall, every invite I've ever gotten has been for free, and all that I've given have been for free. It's good karma I guess.

If all else fails, I may resort to that. :(

Skizo (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../../members/skizo-89789)

I had that same problem you mentioned about ratios...but you know what? There is a torrent file over there about 28gigs...you can just download like 4gigs from that one...and you will be seeding those files for like ages...that's how I boost my ratio over there...and with this boost, I can download stuff I really want....Because you know...I'm not a big fan of comics...

I Hope I've helped a lil bit....
