What would happen if after reseting the 'cmos' by switching the jumper, I reconnect it but in the wrong position?
The thing is I just did this and now I don{t remember how the Jumper was in its
original position... I believe I was distracted at that moment, and I also know
that is just plain stupid  .

Ooh, right.
The board is a M825G by PCShips, and I'm downloading the manual now,
thought I doubt it will shed some light to my dilemma.

Yes it will.

Jumper JP2: Clear CMOS Memory
This jumper can clear the CMOS memory. You may need to clear
the CMOS memory if the settings in the Setup Utility are incorrect
that your motherboard can’t operate. To clear the CMOS memory,
disconnect all the power cables, and then move the jumper cap into
the CLEAR setting for a few seconds.

Normal Short Pins 1-2
Clear CMOS Short Pins 2-3
