hey everyone,

im new here so take it easy if im in the wrong section,

well, what i wanted to know is can anyone point me into the right dirrection of where i maybe able to download software or where i could vista web buttons for my website? such to the effect which are found on:

the program on this site is good but i need to pay for it lmao, anyone know any alternatives, any help is appreciated.

He wants Windows vista style web buttons for his website. He has found a software which generates buttons in the above link however they cost and my friend wants it for free :)

So does anyone know where he can download vista style web buttons or generate buttons to put on a website for free?

It would take some basic photoshop skills to be able to:

1. reproduce those vista-styled buttons.

Or

2. you could just print screen + edit out the text and add your own.

And if you're too lazy to even do option 2 then you deserve to have to pay for the buttons.

Well, that's a bit hard somewhat. You can check at JoeJoe's Website (http://www.joejoe.org/). Except you may wanna search for Vista Resources. You're gonna find that there are Vista RTM extracted resources as well as longhorn and beta builds that you can download - mostly icons, but if you find anything good you can use it.

Also, if it is in a *.ico format you can easily convert it to a *.png image using: Converticon (http://converticon.com/)
