Ok, there is this Mexican site that is currently asking for donations,
and since I do get some great 'stuff' from there, I think it is worth it to give something back, and Pay Pal seems like a good way.

So, how expensive is it?
cus I try searching their site and the web, and they always came up with terms like a 'fee', 'minimum fees'.
Do they charge for only having an account?
or do I get charged for sending & receiving money?
and if so, can some one give some numbers, at least an educated guess?
gees, cus I don't want to suddenly find that I don't have any money left in my bank  , and without me actually buying something.

Paypal charges a tiny transaction fee if I remember correctly. Something like 3% of everything.

So if you Donate $20 to a site, they charge you like 65 cents.

Oh:huh: !,
well, that doesn't seem that bad at all,
I mean, they are making all the transaction and all that stuff.

actually, I kinda remember investigating about it,
but that was some time ago and I don't even know why.

It's always free to send payments using your PayPal account. Personal accounts can receive a limited number of credit or debit card funded payments per year and are assessed a transaction fee. To view your Personal account limit, log in to your account and click the View Limits link.

I use paypal a lot for online transactions, and 3% sounds about right, though since the exchange rate for canadian to american dollars is always changing, I can't say for sure. I always thought of it as 2, since it seemed that when the dollar was at 89 cents, paypal would say I'd only get 87 or so.
