can you play these on the DS

i was wondering if it is possible to play games from the snes, genesis, or nes roms on the nintendo ds using a flash cart.

Yes there is many older game system emulator for the DS. However, they aren't all working full speed. last time I looked, snes was not full speed. Nes certandly is. I think there is a sega genesis emulator for DS. I found this in google : LiraNuna's Sega Genesis Emulator For DS W.I.P

you will need specialy designed cards like theses :

And a micro sd card for data storage, some cards have build in storage. Can't help you really much for DS stuff.
