Still too early to say. In the lounge all seems unusually quiet qua moderation. To be honest it worries me a little.

Couple of damn decent blokes in my opinion, so becoming mods isn't really an issue like.

Good mods are like good referees in puntsphere, you don't notice they are there.

j2 performed a schoolboy error when he moved that thread out of the Drawing Room and Barbie hasn't fixcored the 'view first unread button'.

Apart from that, two good lads to give badges to. At least it wasn't another non-entity like Damnatory.

I proposed that system for dealing with people who post 'LOL' after their own unfunny posts. I think it was in the ERttB section when a hella annoying BT inviteophile was loving the clatter of his own keyboard a little too much.

I feel these two suggestions could work well in tandem and would only benefit the forum, not to mention mankind, in general.

Not really practical tho'. You'd need way too many knifeboards. Then there's getting them installed. Making sure they sit in the proper position to get it square in the face.

It sounds good in theory but when you think it thro' it's a logistical nightmare.

I think we should trial a "trust system" where people are simply told to knife themselves in the face. I think most people would have the honesty to follow thro'.

Maybe I'm just naive.

It's just not the same.

They'd probably wuss out and not stab themselves hard enough. They wouldn't even aim for the eye. They'd just stab themselves through the jaw or something.

Then there should be degrees of stabbage. I would suggest two lists one for target and one for power.

A. Eye
B. Cheek
C. Forehead
D. Chin

With a power rating of 1 to 4. So the gimboid could be told to give themself a B1 as a warning like. With people at a Skizo level getting an A4.

Just a suggestion, obviously open to any ammeliorations you may have.
