View Full Version : Woody Allen
I've decided on a whim that I haven't seen enough Woody Allen films. Actually, I can't think of any I've watched properly.
Someone recommend a good starting point for the watchingage.

White Men Can't Jump is my favourite of his.
Lollies, for a moment you had me going there. Silly me, Woody Allen isn't black.

Bananas is great if you want a belly larf.
Annie Hall for the pathos and stuff.
Zelig for the surrreal.
That's my suggestions.

Love and Death
Agreed, and Sleeper is a fun early one.
Avoid Stardust Memories - self indulgent tripe.

You're all wrong, except that Chip Monk chap. As usual he has found the way.

Must be his Jewish sensibilities.

I thought that's why he's funny.

he's funny to me when he's playing a typical "wimp" character.

Get the ones you want, via the gift of unchecking the ones you don't.
Don't know what quality they are like. Just a spooky coincidence that was there.
Duh, why didn't I think of that.
