you are in the bittorrent section, full of people discussing bittorrent, do you think for a second that one person is going to say emule?;)

Emule is a non ratio file sharing community and bitorrent a ratio file sharing community. In my opinion, in bitorrent you would have a better community and better speeds.

The usual debate between the two file sharing giants. There is no comparison at all between both networks emule has huge resources than the bittorrent network. However emule is much slower than the bittorrent clients and a file which takes a week in a torrent download could complete in more than a month in emule. Bittorent is the place to go for recent releases while emule would provide you with all the rare files you are looking for. Of course the technique used in both is completely different.

to my surprise I am finding this to be less and less the case. I used to always have to open up emule to find that rare album or file, but it seems that if you are a member of a few good private trackers anything is just a click away.

with that being said, bittorrent is by far better, although emule still has a place on my harddrive just incase.

Yes! There are some files that you can't find nowhere! Slow download, but amazing content. Bittorrent is great for 0day or specialized content.

I used emule for the 1st time a couple of days ago after a mate talked me into it. He swears by emule and wont touch torrents. I hated it...

Speed was seriously slow, when it eventually started to download that is, i was stuck in a queue for a couple of hours at least. I also didnt like the fact that i couldn't see any screenshots of what i was downloading. Or able to read comments off those that had downloaded prior to myself. I often decide whether or not to download something on a private tracker dependant on the comments.

Dunno, maybe i was doing something wrong but emule isnt for me!

Most Emule users think thats search function is enough , like BT have public and Private tracker, emule also hav private verified hash sites Emule is more secure than BT ,If you want a high speed in Emule you have to look in east asian forum and private ED2K sites .

Don't you know what kind of answers you will get by posting that question in the bittorrent section? However, just because all responses favoring bittorrent may be biased, they are correct. Buttorrent is the KING!

Really it's hard to choose because many things am looking for can't find it always on torrent trackers and also the same thing happens when i use emule so the both are essential to me in my opinion but if we are talking about the speeds bittorrent wins the 1st prize
