No, no it wouldn't.

Having filesharingtalk as your homepage would suck untold amount of bawls.

That sort of gimmick was fine back in 1995, but nowadays, people are a bit more savvy about their browsing experience.

Most people have google as their homepage :frusty:

Well such buttons just offer an easy shorcut for those who wish to add a quality site as FST as their hompage. Google uses it too.

Imagine what would have happened if you had visited jesus youth site and clicked their "make us your homepage to get more happines" before fst.

I agree with Babs, any most people who go towards p2p info are more web aware.

on the other side if it can replace any of these "Talkgold Sexy Pictures Cheap Posters Money E-Books Paid to Post Web-Life Forum"
no problems

:lookaroun ..you have a point !00% ...and loose all that happiness...

How would the actual code look like...could anyone post it here?

Edit: How about.. a "Bookmark FileSharingTalk.com," button then; thing is, it would be good for keeping the community together..and if the script can ensure that FST is the very first "favourite" in the list.....

It would be a good way to annoy anyone who'd accidentally clicked it.

Links like that aren't quite as annoying as regular popups, but they are on the same branch in the annoyance family-tree, like.

No,having one site as a home page is so 1995,nowadays those with more savy use multiple sites as their homepage.

In Firefox open up to five of your favorite sites at once in the tabbed order you would like to view them, then go to Tools>Options>General and click on Use Current Pages. Then hit OK.

Now,when you click on your home icon these five sites will open up at once. :)

Peace bd

Maybe I'm missing the point, but the people that would come here I think are internet savvy enough to go to their options in their browsers and edit the URL for the homepage to FST. Assuming they would want to do this of course.
