View Full Version : A reminder about the "rep" system
I have seen an increasing number of posts, and there have been several topics that have been reported lately, of members abusing the "rep" system, or just simply not using it as it was intended.
Please familiarize yourself with The Reputation System (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/bittorrent-invites-section/t-member-reputation-trusted-traders-144759). Even if you think you know how it works, many of you need to be refreshed.
DO NOT demand or ask for rep points when giving away invites. It's called "Trader Rep". It is not intended for freebies.
Giving away an invite to someone, and trusting them in a trade is quite different. :)

Im afraid no matter how much we remind people of these, its inevitable that to some, it just falls on deaf ears.

Why not make than already trusted members and purple stars only could give add reps ?
It will make the rep more important, not for the same purpose but it could mean actualy something.

The problem with that is that trusted and established members dont do as much trades as newbies. Then how can they know a particular member is trusted enough to be given a rep point if he didnt trade with him?
