Some avi files that i have partly downloaded dont work on avi preview. It just stays as a black screen when it plays the files.

Does this mean that avi preview aint compatible with some avi files, or is the file a fake?

Try the same files using Videolan. It's a free download.

If your codec is up to date, then what you have is known as a raw bit map image, which is a fake created by those f**kers in the "biz", bastards, sorry ass money hungry peice of shits that want to pick my pockets and not let me have anything for f**king free. :lol: :lol:

do xvid or divx 4 codecs work for new movies and how do you download videolan?

VideoLan is HERE (http://www.videolan.org/), its ok and can actually preveiw files. As far as codecs and movies it depends how they were made. I would suggest uninstalling all your codecs and installing the klite codec pack 2.03 from HERE (http://www.k-lite.tk/).

Try the latest avi preview 0.26 alpha.

I am really bored of these lame ass movies from dmca, and music from riaa. Most of us have better things to do, really. i believe most people that download them, have all the freetime in the world, which is really small in number. These corporate are ignorant/bad and are squeezing every bit of blood they can suck on. They have no shame, or any feelings whatsoever. Money should not be forced out of someone's pocket but should be given by choice, it is much more pleasurable this way, thought.
