I dont think they are the only isp in the world to block encrypted traffic. My last isp was also able to beat the encryption. Nothing worked to circumvent them. One of the reasons why i had to change isp.

You could always buy a seedbox, or a VPS at www.leeware.com for only $15/month.

They are one of the worst as far as shaping.

They detect utorrent and az...
There was a newer client that they hadnt been able to detect. I forgot the name of that client however hehehe

thats a good idea! but i have always been against the idea of having seedbox since it makes it harder for others to seed and beside i'm not into the game of making buffered account and trading phobia!! i was happy with rogers till this happend, i was simply able to upload and pay off what i was downloading to 1.5 ratio everytime..and as the other friend said we might have to think of switching to DSL...but for any one who has experienced the cable speed, i guess switching to an underdog isp would be more like a pain!
i was hopeing if someone here could provide us with a work around or a new encryption method!!!

Unfortunately, their probably isn't much in the way of workarounds. If they want to stop you, they will. Even if you use a VPN or tunnel through a shell, they could throttle speeds on those ports. $15/month isn't bad for peace and a sense of security.

wow that sucks. I used to be under Rogers when I lived in Toronto. Glad I don't have that problem anymore.
