No, his account won't be disabled. He got only his IP banned for unsuccessfully trying to log in. His account must be active still.

You need to look at the big picture.

He said he tried logging in, but it wasn't accepting his password which he also states he is positive he was entering it correctly. This means either someone has guessed his password, which is unlikely unless it was like "password" or something. The only other logical reason is that the account was disabled prior to his futile login attempts.

I got the same problem here, i guess it happened because of their new back end system which they installed, but now everything seems fine :)

Probably just needed to recover his password.

Sometimes when work is being done on sites the database goes out of wack or some fields end up corrupt.
