Photoshop Cursor question

Sometimes the cursor, like for paintbrush changes from a
brush
to
four dot cursor (cross hair style)

i can barely see where the hell the cursor is when it is in four dots.:frusty:

How does one get it back to normal "arrow"/"brush" view?

Please advize.

(i know it is simply a shortcut key but don't know which)

caps lock changes it back to crosshairs.

I know what you mean. That's why I use transparent backgrounds now.
