I used to use Disk Keeper but then switched to Perfect Disk for some reason, forgot why exactly. Anyways, I prefer PK over DK, you should try it out sometime.

Yes, Diskeeper 11 is great. It defragments the system automatically in the background. I have had quite good experience with version 11 over version 10.

Thanks for the info, guess I should go upgrade. I'm still using version 8. :O

No love for O&O Defrag?!

Nope. I was a fan before but the new Diskeeper is just better.

man is this program great, i have been using ultimate defrag.
Really? I use UltimateDefrag, I didn't quite like the idea of Diskeeper running in the background - like to do it manually.

diskeeper here as well. Slightly OT but I wish executive software (or anyone for that matter) had something that would let you change drive letters or copy applications between drives reliably. Everything I've tried so far doesn't reassign all the registry entries for installed apps after a drive letter change.

jkdefrag here.

I think background process for defragging, ill advised.

As I use FDR ISR, I changed from Diskeeper to Perfect Disk. I dont like it as much as DK but one thing you dont want when updating snapshots is for the Defrag to kick in. DK has a lot of nice options though.
