nobody is gonna write your report for you for $10.

Its pretty damn simple though here (http://home.att.net/~srschmitt/script_reverse_polish.html) is a javascript implementation all you really have to do is understand that function and rewrite it in c which is easy since the syntax is pretty much identical.

there really cant be more than 3 hours work there and no im not doing it for you.

Estimated at 3 hours huh, if you were one of our clients you'd be charged £255 for me to do it for you.

It's worth your while learning this stuff, tbh :smilie4:

I wouldn't do it either.

Not only are projects like that intended to teach you something, which means that someone else doing it defeats the whole purpose of it, but it would also be cheating.

And on top of that, relying on others like that will screw you in the long run, when you've started a new job and they find out you are inexperienced on account of not having written your own code.

However, if there are specific questions about syntax, or you need help with a specific function, someone here may be able to help you, just don't ask someone else to do your entire project for you.

Oh, and use google and whatnot, usually a lot of what you need can be found in the public domain, if you know where to look, and while having others to do a project for you is wrong, reinventing the wheel, so to speak, is pointless too.

your paying money to get an education yet you want other people to do the work for you instead of you actually learning something.

If you were really smart you would have just typed "infix to postfix calculator c++" into google and you would be amazed at what you might find. but i suppose your too much of an ass to bother doing any research yourself.

I like that. Insult people until they do your homework for you.

You offered $10 for the development of a piece of software.

I quoted you a realistic price.

You then called us all "asses".

Grow up. :dabs:

a small software to help a guy out with his class

not everything revolves around money, dickhead

apparently you guys are too fuckin cool to help someone out...i know if i had intense c++ knowledge, i'd help out for free...whatever happened to doing it for the love of the game, pft

You were the one who brought money into this. I simply pointed out that it was an unrealistic amount

Also if you had concentrated in your class you might have picked up enough C++ knowledge and you wouldn't be in this mess now would you.

What you are being asked to do is not exactly hard. If you make a start, and ask some specific questions when you get stuck, I'll be only too happy to help, but I'm not doing the whole thing for you.

You think they're being asses?

I think you should reread the advice given here. It really is helpful and supportive information for your success.
