i am about to install Vista 64bit on my system, but a friend of mine suggested not to do so at this time .he says some drivers for older cards and devices are not yet fully available and i might see some problem after the windows upgrade..he is suggesting to go with the vista 32bit at this time..
i need some advices
thanks

i agree with what he said.
Better to install 32bit right now.

I would add that "windows upgrade" might not be the best. It would be better to do a fresh installation.

if ur going vista. 32bit and 64bit have the same driver support. now, just going to vista in general would possibly give u problems like ur friend had said. personally, on the desktop vista runs fine. games however i still have not experienced for i run xp for games atm.

Go to Microsoft's Vista page and they have a program to download which will test your system compatibility.

There's also another page out there that lists all the software that is compatible, just do a search for "Windows vista compatibility"
