I have just recently found out from a friend that you can buy matrix reloaded on DVD from ebay, yes before you scream I know its a pirate copy, but my friend spent 15 quid on this when I was could have done him a copy for free if he asked.

The picture and sound are the same as the ones that you can get form kazaa

do you think it is fair that people are downloading the stuff for free (cause we are all big movie companies adn the RIAA) and then making money from it for them selves are they not just as bad the film companies that we hate?

I know that, my point was do you think is right that the whole point was should this person be making money like the big films companies,

and it was a DVD not a VCD there was some home made menu system with the matrix code running down the background which didnt looktoo bad for a pirate

If people can sell pirated DVD stuff on ebay, then at least I know I'm safe from the MPAA. They have bigger fish to catch. B)

BTW, there is a Matrix Reloaded DVD floating around. Its the first of its kind, from our boys at Centropy, and it has full 5.1 channel Dolby surround sound. Its still a telecine, but I hear the quality is good, and the sound is superb! :)

I agree that selling pirated movies (and software) is bad etiquette.. It brings too much attention to an already obvious system of tom-geekery. Where are the days when nobody believed me when I said I had some new movie on my comp? Now even Jay Leno makes jokes about it <_<

ps. I don't hate the film companies.. I'm just take too much pleasure in the process of the geek hahah :P

Um, dude. No offence but it's probably a DVD.... I mean I have a DVD burner and it burns DVDs, not VCDs. Just cause it's burned doesn't mean it's not a true DVD.

Here (http://www.vcdquality.com/nfo.php/nfoid13678.png?id=13678&show=image) is the link to the .nfo file for the pirate dvd. The .nfo says its a telesync, but the audio was ripped directly from the source film, which makes this a breakthru in the "cinema" movie scene. Details, details. And of course its 4 gigs, its a damn DVD format. They are all 4 gigs.

The quality looks no worse than any other copy out there. The surround sound is what makes it different. I'm working on downloading a copy now. So far, the speeds are good. :)

ok just played the copy that my mate has; at home on my own player but the difference being that I have a home theater kit so I can listen to 5.1; its not to bad and too end all arguemtns it is a dvd it looks like the three files you can get of kazaa all put to together because there are 2 pause during the film.

my argument is shoudl they make from this

I am so drnk think i might put a hat on

Another great thing is that you don't have to change disks. So for the price of a DVD-R, and a few extra hours of download time, you can have a DVD copy that will play in ANY player. Not a bad deal if you ask me. :)

that centropy release is 2.3 gigs, 3 cds, right?

it's a telesync, quality is good, but definitley NOT dvd...
i give it a 4 (out of 10). but its the best one out there. so far. ;)

but to sell this is wrong in so many ways. the people who did it should be sent to prison for a month. <_<

Most movies I see in the theater. If its a long time until the DVD release, then I'll download a nice TS until I do a retail DVD copy with my burner. I've never sold anything, but I burn CDs/DVDs/VCDs for close friends. I like to spread the wealth around. B)

ive just checked ebay out and ther is quit few selling them they must be mad

taking from ebay:
As above excellent quality DVD almost perfect picture and sound 9.9/10 for both. This film is very good and is a must see. This DVD comes with working menu's and has the matrix 3 trailer on it as a bonus. You won't be disappointed.
This disc comes in a DVD case with a printed label. The disc works on nearly all DVD players including XBOX and PS2's. The disc is in region 2 format which is UK format.

Disclaimer: to buy this you should own the original or you are allowed to test this for 24hours after which it should be destroyed. If you use this disc illegally and get caught I will not be held responsible.

I accept paypal and nochex only. P&P is £1.

What kind of person am I?

I go to the cinema pay 5 quid watch the film if I like it I will download it share it, when it comes to the retail DVD comes out I will be buy it.

There are some films you need to see more than once like reloaded but I dont think we should pay twice to see the film especially if you just want to see the conversation with the achitecte over again

PS when my mate bought he knew it was a pirate, so dont call him stupid on that aspect, I just think its wrong that people sell pirates they should be distributed free of for a small cost £2 tops for the cost of the video or CD plus time

this is quite funny cos 1 of my m8's said he had a dvd and i just laughed at him, he didnt seem to get u cant have a dvd screener if the company that make the movie dont release 1, its the same as the ebay guy.

He said it must be a dvd cos it had a menu and stuff  they just burnt a telesync like centropy onto a dvd in dvd format and sold it. its funny when my m8's get duped, they insist that all the movies off kazaa are awful and they would rather by a video than watch them!!!!!!

All the stuff on the dvd u can just downlaod, if i was bothered i would make a menu but i really cant be :P and even that can be done on a vcd B)

its very funny, but if they dont want to ask me for the file then they wont get it. :P

We know its the telesync version burnt on to a blank DVD, you dont actually think there are people who believe that is availble on DVD yet do you

there is an improved release to the SVCD, its a DVD-R but i have no idea where to get it.
the quality seems similar to it, but apparantly it has a better audio source.

You can get the Centropy rel. DVD on a few newsgroups, perhaps IRC, but most likely the easiest method would be to use BitTorrent. There's bound to be a torrent or two out there...

Though I've tried to explain myself clearly, I'm sure there are people confused about this. This isn't a DVD rip, just a Telesync that has been encoded to a DVD-R disk. Because of the filesize, they were able to add surround sound, a first for "cinema cams." :)
