I have that laptop... you won't see any difference in performance between 1GB and 2GB of memory, so just fo with 1GB... Also, I would strongly suggest to upgrade the video card to 128MB or 256MB for faster video acceleration... And also, upgrade the LCD screen to WXGA+ or SXGA+ for better resolution...

It has pretty good specs but windows vista sucks! And you can't play any demanding games with that GPU.

I think it is probably a very good laptop, especially at that price. Obviously you should have jumped on the offer immediately.

However, the next offer may not be as good, so feel free to ask here and miss that one too.
