What's your nickname and how did you get it.

When I was about 16 I ha d the nickname Shadow because I used to appear quietly by people without them realizing.

Later on I got the name Morris from my habit of wearing my keys on a beltholder and jingling as I walked.

My latest one of Gripper was given to me by the DJ I worked with on the local radio to hide my identity,she just pulled it out of thin air and it stuck.

So what's yours and why?

Harry - Started since birth? Just short for Harrison, I guess. Sometimes people think they are funny when they relate Harry to hairy. I've yet to laugh. :dabs:

Harris - this guy in High school called me that just out of the blue. He said he knew my real name, but whatever. I like to think as Harris to be my professional name. I've yet to come up with anything that I am professional about tho'. :idunno:

Hairbawl - Fourth grade teacher called me this. She was so cool, too. She let me do just about anything - teachers pet :happy: I also use it for email and IMs ;)

Hair - short for hairbawl. People are just naturally lazy :dry:

Hairbautt - made by me for gaming & forum usernames if available. Not sure who else would take it, but it happens :unsure:

People at my high school got into a habit of calling eachother "Dirty". They had an absolute fascination with calling each other and each other's actions "dirty". Well, I was being stupid and slipped into a puddle of mud and got my clothes and face all muddy, and from then on I was called "Pigpen" (you know, from Charley Brown...).

i wanted a username for my account at a network game cafe so the 1st name it came to me was of a old movie character which i liked. i started pc gaming from there and 1st game was counter strike, i got pro at it and people over there started to call me with that nick.
