Here's what is on the TL website:

Due to some events out of our control, we had to close down the registration for the time being. Rest assure that we took the necessary steps to correct the situation and the invites should be back on-line by next Wednesday.

The invitation will stay valid, as long as the invite system is closed. Therefore the invitation will not expire, even if it is quoted so in the e-mail your invitee received.

Same goes for the tracker and the site having some trouble in the last 24 hours, we are on it and all will be solved for good by next Wednesday
